History of the CEGC
The CEGC (Central European Gas Conference) first took place in 1994, in Prague. The CEGC was created with the aim of providing an information platform on the rapidly developing gas industry of Central and Eastern Europe.
The past 14 years have seen much interesting change and development in the Central European region and the programme has always been full of hotly debated topics. most notably the accession of 8 countries to the EU in May 2004 has been a focus for discussion, and over the last 5 years we have looked in detail at the situation in the run up to accession and the implications post membership.
